Pastor Bill and the Church Council have charged the Safety Committee to make plans for the day we will resume services. Many factors will go into that decision to resume services such as Local and State Regulations, the situation on the ground at that time and equally if not more important Zion’s and your assurances that all possible measures have been put in place to assure a safe and welcoming environment to worship.
The Safety Committee has taken steps to begin that process. Initially, we have contracted an industrial cleaning company that specializes in sanitizing and disinfecting buildings. This cleaning will be completed with the next couple of weeks. Additionally, we have put in place a process that ensures the church buildings will be sanitized between weekly services. These two steps far exceeds CDC recommendations.
Even with these steps being put in place we feel it is incumbent upon Zion to get the feelings/concerns and wishes of the congregation as plans are being developed. To this end we ask that you fill out the following questionnaire.
Your input is vital, and the information provided will go a long way in ensuring a smooth and safe transition to services resumption.
